The epic “Midnight Margarita” scene in Practical Magic sticks out as a best in class for us – and their recipe for this classic sounds pretty delish…

Tongue of Dog
Adder’s fork and Blind Worm’s sting
Barbados lime is just the thing
Fragias salt, like a sailor’s stubble
Flip the switch and let the cauldron bubble!! ‍♀️

We’ve seen this movie over and over again since it debuted in 1998 and while some of their ingredients were a bit difficult to source , we stuck by the lead character’s wise words and subsituted accordingly: “Always throw spilt salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can.” Our recipe, with a salt rimmed glass, rosemary (which IS planted by our garden gate), and lavender fits the bill.
How To: Combine ingredients in a blender with ice. Blend and pour into a salt rimmed glass. Float BPF tea and violet liqueur, for a touch of midnight.
