Gin, Martini, Summer,

4th of July week is here… (Wait, what?!? How can we already be getting into July?!) and with that comes a short week of work and a celebration of the red, white & blue. We’re starting that off with colorfully themed cocktails of course For #martinimonday, say hello to the Revolutionary Watermelon Martini . We’re starting with watermelon because it brings out all the summer vibes… grill days, pool days, that first bite where you spill watermelon juice EVERYWHERE and have to wash the stickiness off your fingers… it’s beautiful and it’s tasty, especially served up at the end of day! We made our watermelon juice fresh – just blend & strain out the pulp, then combined with gin, strawberry syrup (recipe below ⬇️), elderflower liqueur, and lime juice. A sweet and salty rim would be a nice addition too, just sayin! Enjoy and cheers to the red of our red white & blue!
How To: In a shaker, muddle mint with strawberry syrup. Add remaining ingredients with ice. Shake and serve in a martini glass. Garnish with watermelon slice.
