Margarita, Rum, Summer,If you like pina coladas… Then you’ll like this cocktail It’s okay to read that like you’re singing the song Pina Coladas are such a classic and another solid choice during the summer. It also fulfills the “white” in our red, white & blue cocktail theme ✔️! The ingredients here are simple – just a white or silver rum, pineapple , & cream of coconut . **We also learned a little trick with this when we had to improvise…. if you don’t have or can’t find cream of coconut you can use coconut milk, you just need to make a couple tweaks. When you open the can of coconut milk, just use the solid chunky portion and discard the runny liquid. Because that isn’t as sweet as coconut cream, also add 1 ounce of simple syrup so you don’t miss out.** Blend cream of coconut with the remaining ingredients & ice and pour. Add a rum floater (totally optional)! Final step – close your eyes and visualize your favorite beach, ocean breeze and wave on wave on wave… sip and relax.
How To: Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until well mixed. Add ice as needed. Pour into a sugar-rimmed margarita glass. Garnish with cherry.
