Come to Me Caipirinha


– 1/2 lime, chopped
– 4-5 chunks pineapple
– 1.5 tsp sugar
– 3/4oz ginger liqueur
– 2oz cachaca
cinnamon & candied ginger, for garnish

Come to Me Caipirinha…. if only we could summon one of these with a simple spell ‍♀️. This Brazilian cocktail is simple, refreshing and easy to drink any time of year. The classic version calls for only 3 ingredients – cachaca, lime and sugar – making it impossible not to want to play around with. Our “Come to Me Caipirinha” adds pineapple and ginger liqueur to the first step, where you typically only muddle a fresh lime with sugar. Once our cachaca and ice were in the mix we took it one. step. further… we topped with cinnamon. Y’all, it sounds weird but it WORKS. No need for a straw on this, with every sip you get a tantalizing cinnamon twist along with the traditional flavors we love in this cocktail. A bite from the ginger and just wow, gotta say this one’s a keeper. And perfectly fits with our transition to fall !
How to: In a highball glass, combine chopped lime, pineapple, sugar and ginger liqueur. Muddle well. Add crushed ice and Cachaca. Top with ground cinnamon. Garnish with candied ginger and a cinnamon stick.
