Gin, Martini, Spring, Summer,I think we can all relate to this song sometimes… Cheap Thrills. At the end of a long day (or week), the last thing we want is something else complicated. As the lyrics indicate, we just want to (come on, come on) turn the radio on and hit the *metaphorical* dance floor, we’ve got all we need. Well, all except one of these amazing martinis … The Cheap Thrills martini (J/S original recipe!) isn’t only pretty in pink, she’s got a lot to offer to help you wind down. We started with gin and a raspberry limoncello (this stuff is addicting…) and added a bit of raspberry simple syrup, St. Germain, couple dashes of Rose water and lemon juice. We garnished with flowers and a dash of lemon bitters and that’s it! That’s all you need… after one you’ll be bobbing your head to this song and after two… well, cheers . This one is a reminder to just sip back and have fun sometimes, even if it is just an ordinary Tuesday. Maybe turn on some of the sweet sounds of Sia and make your night amazing.
To make: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and serve in a martini glass with flowers. Garnish with more flowers and a dash of lemon bitters.
